The Moorpark Musketeers Youth Football Program has been around since 1989 and continues to be the best place for kids to learn how to play football and transition to the next level of play at Moorpark High School.
Our sponsors and league supporters play a vital role in our ability to offer partial scholarships, their support is much needed and appreciated and without them, financial assistance would not be possible. While we are working hard on securing scholarship dollars, funds are limited and as a result, awards of assistance are not guaranteed. In order to be considered for a scholarship the following minimum criteria must be met prior to being considered. Please also note that since these funds are limited MMYF&C asks that you take advantage of the payment option so that we may offer funds to those under severe financial strain. Once your deposit is made, you can select auto pay as an option. The steps listed below must be taken prior to being considered. Incomplete information or missing information will automatically disqualify your athlete from consideration.
In order to be considered please note the bullets and requirements listed below.
Each Football or Cheer Athlete must register online at www.moorparkyouthfootball.com and pay a minimum of $100 for football or $75 for cheer. If this initial payment is NOT made your child will not be eligible for a scholarship.
Please submit a letter explaining your situation as to why a scholarship is needed for your child. Feel free to provide as much detail as necessary, the more information provided, the better. A generic "financial hardship" will not suffice; there need to be specific financial hardships identified in the request (lost job, etc). This letter can be submitted via email to

Scholarships will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. All deposits and requests must be received by April 1st.
Each scholarship recipient must be willing to have a family member participate at 2 events prior to or during the season. Hours worked are equivalent to $10 per hour. (Event Examples:PYFL Weigh-in, Snack Bar, Camp Week Registration, Picture Day Help, Equipment Distribution, Golf Tournament)
Each athlete must commit to attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled practices and team activities.
Each athlete Cheer or Football must sell $100 worth of PYFL raffle tickets (applies to every player in the league)
Each athlete must either complete the above or sell the equivelant of the full registration amount in PYFL Raffle tickets.
The information that you provide will be kept confidential with minimal disclosure within the Board, the Scholarship Committee, and its Officers.
